Thanks , you don't need to drill ,the screws are self tapping and its all into plastic , no need to jack the car either ,each skid plate has 4 screws on the top side with caps which snap on to the screw heads ( I silicon-ed them just in case ) and 4 screws on the underside which you can't see. This is a simple install , the 3M auto tape on the bottom side panels holds each skid plate into the correct position allowing you to screw the pieces onto the bumper and lower fascia . I really think this is a "killer mod" , not too expensive , easy to install and really adds a unique look to the Gen II's .
For the peeps wanting to do "their" version of a Red Zone , these skid plates could easily be painted white or black and accented with red vinyl , do the same with a rear spoiler , add some red vinyl accents to the existing side sills and you'd be pretty close ....................
